COLOR DELIGHTS-PURPLE by
Needle Delights Originals Next up is a two-month
study of color and stitches as we work this design. The pattern can be done as the original 4" square, or enlarged
to an 8" square. It also can easily be converted to other colorways by first choosing a Watercolors variegated
thread and then coordinating with other flosses and metallics. The pattern, canvas and all threads will be provided
in the original colorway for around $35, or
just the pattern for $11 if you wish to personalize. You may sign up at the June meeting

MAD ABOUT PLAID
Join us as we begin our study of plaid, using the simplest of plaids, the gingham. This
could be used on a painted canvas for clothing, upholstery, a background stitch, or even an entire pillow. Just bring
a small piece of white or ecru canvas, white DMC and another DMC color of your choosing, along with needles and scissors.
You won't even need stretcher bars for the sample we will work.
No need to sign up. Just show
up. You'll be learning a new skill while enjoying the company of other stitchers.
December 8, 2011 HOLIDAY PARTY!! Our
annual holiday party will be held December 8, 2011. Past attendees begin early to search out a great, low-cost
gift to bring for the infamous "Steal-a-Gift" exchange. Members sign up to bring food and beverages to share
and the party is always loads of fun.
